Our Foundation
Community Housing Dev. Corp. of MSI was established in 1997 to ensure that residents living in the Mooresville and Southern Iredell County community would have the opportunity of affordable housing.
Our Mission is to provide affordable housing for low and moderate income families through collaborative and innovative programs of housing, financing, and human development.
The organization operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service.
We are driven to empower a sense of community and a quality of life to the citizens of Mooresville and South Iredell. To be successful, CHDC/MSI understands that it takes more than just affordable housing; people are the key to success. CHDC/MSI provides educational programs that enhance the opportunities for home ownership and develop necessary skills for life-long financial success.
